Many beginner bloggers have actually asked this question of which is better between wordpress and blogger. There are many websites that host blogs but Wordpress and Blogger are the best and most popular amongst them all but which is better between this two? While there are different opinions to this, it’s no doubt that wordpress is more sophisticated than blogger but I do prefer blogger to wordpress. Though both of them made it easy to build a blog, blogger is much easier for beginners than wordpress. Blogger.com provides a very easy way to monetize your blog. Because blogger.com is being owned and managed by Google Inc, they have made it quite easy to monetize your blog through Google Adsense programs and through third party affiliate programs like Amazon. Also, you can start popularizing your blog by easily submitting your blog to major search engines like Google, Ask.com, technoratti, and yahoo.
As you advance, you may actually want to think that wordpress is better. Wordpress actually has better sophisticated and modernized themes that blogger. Also wordpress provides you the opportunity to host your blog on any server you want with wordpress.org
Another advantage of blogger is that you can edit your HTML codes and save your changes thereby customizing your blog any time. This is not so in wordpress.com, the hosted version of wordpress, you have to pay to upgrade your membership before you can do that. I personally think that blogger is better for the beginners and blogger also has some advance and unique features you can play with.
You can play with both of them to know what you really want and prefer.
